I took the opportunity to send some cards to friends that I haven't talked to/seen in awhile. One friend has moved away, one friend left teaching to stay home with her babies, one friend left teaching to begin a new career and then I also sent a card to a friend that I used to teach with but then I went to a different school district so we lost touch a little. It was great to sit down and remember the great times that we shared so I just wanted to send them a quick hello. I know that in today's age of technology-everyone sends e-mails, texts or calls but I thought it would be nice to send a card in the mail. . .I would definitely like to do this again :)
